Also known as Indian frankincense, Boswellia serrata is derived from a natural botanical tree resin extract, a renewable resource. Boswellia serrata has been shown to support overall health in a number of ways:
- Inhibits 5-lipoxygenase and LTB-4 formation, which may help maintain a normal, healthy inflammatory response1
- Significantly reduces the breakdown of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) found in connective tissues, cartilage and tendons2

Turmeric, the yellow phytochemical found in the renewable plant Curcuma longa, is used as a spice in many parts of the world. In a concentrated form, Turmeric has shown important health benefits:

Cautions: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Consult with your veterinarian before using this product in animals: with clotting disorders; being treated with anticoagulant medications; with diabetes or any metabolic disorder causing hyperglycemia; with a history of urinary tract stones; with known allergies to shellfish. If lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian. Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset.
