1. What is the difference between Glyco-Flex® I and Glyco-Flex 600 mg? top

Glyco-Flex 600 mg contains 600 mgs of Perna canaliculus or New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel that has been freeze-dried whole. Glyco-Flex® 600 mg is a fish flavored chewable tablet scored down the middle and can be broken in half for use by smaller dogs. Our New Glyco-Flex® I formula also contains 600 mg of Perna canaliculus , but it also contains 500 mg of Glucosamine HCl and 100 mg of N,N-Dimethylglycine (DMG) in a smoke flavored chewable tablet.

2. Is Glyco-Flex® 600 mg still available? top

Yes. It is now called GF 600 and is available to veterinarians who wish to continue with our original Perna product. It is available in a 120 or 300 count bottle. Our Glyco-Flex 300 mg for small dogs is also still available and is now called GF 300. It is available in a 250 or 500 count bottle.

3. What is the difference between the Old Glyco-Flex® II DS formula and the New Glyco-Flex® II formula? top

Our original Glyco-Flex® II DS formula contained 600 mg of Perna canaliculus combined with 500 mg of Methylsulfonylmethane, 500 mg of Glucosamine HCl, and 10 mg of elemental Manganese in a smoke flavored chewable tablet. Our New Glyco-Flex® II formula contains 600 mg of Perna canaliculus , 750 mg of Glucosamine HCl, 500 mg of Methylsulfonylmethane, 100 mg of Dimethylglycine, 10 mg of elemental Manganese combined in a smoke flavor chewable tablet that is scored down the middle.

4. What is the difference between the Old Glyco-Flex® III formula and the New Glyco-Flex® III formula? top

Our original Glyco-Flex® III formula contained 600 mg of Perna canaliculus , 1,000 mg of Methylsulfonylmethane, 500mg of Glucosamine HCl, 10 mg of elemental Manganese, and 25 mg of Vitamin C as Calcium Ascorbate in a chicken flavored chewable tablet scored down the middle for use in smaller animals. The New Glyco-Flex® III contains 600 mg Perna canaliculus , 1,000 mg of Methylsulfonylmethane, 1,000 mg of Glucosamine HCl, 100 mg of Dimethylglycine, 10 mg of elemental Manganese, 25 mg of Vitamin C in the form of Calcium Ascorbate combined with Vitamin E, Selenium, Glutathione, and Grape Seed Extract. The New Glyco-Flex® III is a chewable smoke flavored tablet that has been scored down the middle.

Yes, the number of tablets and the cost per day have booth been reduced. In the old Glyco-Flex® formulas you had to initially give 3 tablets daily for a 61-100 lb dog. The maintenance for a 61-100 lb dog was 2 tablets daily. With the New Glyco-Flex® formulas you should to give a 61-100 lb dog 2 tablets daily while the maintenance for a 61-100 lb dog is 1 tablet daily.

6. Why did the number of tablets a day change? top

We were able to lower the number given of tablets our Glyco-Flex® formulas due to the added Glucosamine for joint support and the combined properties of the added DMG and antioxidants. Due to the powerful additions to our formulas, optimal joint health can be maintained with fewer tablets.
